Well here it is, my first speed scrap layout! I got a chance to do this last night (finally) and I had a blast. I think it came out pretty well. This is a picture from a block party that we had on our side of the campground last year. The theme was "the 70's". Everyone dressed like we did back then which meant that most of us wore tie-dyed tee shirts and jeans. We had a blast!
I really am getting frustrated about this! I know there has to be something I'm missing but I can't figure it out!
Anyway, these are some pictures that my daughter took while her family was visiting her brother and his fiance'. The baby was having a great time! I love butterflies and the butterfly stamp that I used was great to use with Stickles!!!
These are a couple more layouts that I have done from Sharon & Josh's wedding. I really like using the stickles on this and I the flair stamps fit right in with the flairs on the paper.
I wish I knew how to turn these picutes around. This paper is absolutely beautiful! I found it in PA and I knew that I wanted it for these pictures. The poem at the bottom of the page was also a find in PA. I love this two page layout!
I don't know why this picture uploaded sideways but you can still see it so that's a plus! This is the last of the two page layouts that are now "DD". All I added to this was the little bit of journaling on the top with the year that it happened. He was so proud of this fish!
I love this paper and it was perfect for these pictures of the boys! They were hunting for salamanders and frogs. I started this over the weekend and then made tags when I got home. I used the frog punch from Creative Memories for embellishing the tags.
This is the first two layouts that I did while I was on retreat last weekend. I put the last of the embellishments on at home. I used Stickles for the first time and now I LOVE it! If you look real close you can see it in the middle of each flower!
The challenge for this week was to use ribbon on your layout. I love doing layouts for the pictures from my DD's wedding. I used black Bazzill paper for the background and pink and white paper for the mats. The ribbon for this layout is pink even though you can't really tell from the pictures.
This is the two page layout that I did for this week's challenge. The challenge was to use a white background and only two other colors. I knew I wanted to use pictures from my daughter's wedding but I wasn't sure I had any embellishments that were the right colors. As it turned out, I didn't use the original pictures I had picked out, (these are much cuter!), and I came up with the perfect embellies! I stressed out over nothing!!
